Name of Scholarship: James Edgar Memorial Scholarship

Donor: Honors the memory of James Edgar, a member of Navarro’s original faculty whose career spanned 27 years. Recipient must be in a math or science related program.

Amount of Award: $500 per semester

Criteria: Must be majoring in a math and/or science related area of study (i.e. biology, chemistry, engineering, mathematics, pharmacy, pre-med, pre-dentistry, etc.)

Selection Process: Member of the Math and Science faculty will nominate potential recipients. A committee of the math and science and the Executive Director of the Navarro College Foundation will make the final selection.
